LMS Skalar Instruments has received full ISO9001 certification for the development and production of mobile measurement systems for the automotive and supplier industry. The certification covers both the hardware and the embedded software. Dr. Detlef Heling, LMS Skalar Instruments General Manager said, "This certification puts us in the position of being able to deliver fully ISO9001 certified measurement systems for the field and laboratory."
In September, the customer support services in the LMS France, LMS Italy and LMS USA subsidiaries were certified to meet ISO 9002 standards. Tonny Vanmunster, LMS Quality Manager, stated: "It emphasizes our continued global commitment to be recognized by our customers as a Quality partner, in terms of products, processes and people. It also complements the certification of the LMS UK office, which already has an ISO 9001 certificate, the scope including local software developments as well as customer support."
